2008 SEASON RULES

I.		Duration of race
	3 days	Arkadelphia, AL ; Montgomery, AL; Atmore, AL; Tupelo, MS; Vicksburg, MS
	2 days	Mt. Juliet, TN; Lewisburg TN & Decatur, AL
	1 day	All other stations
	15% of the birds entered must be clocked for a race to be official. If less than %15
	is clocked at the end of the duration it will be extended 1 (one) day.
	When you clock a bird call the race secretary at 765-860-4261 and report your clocking
	until the 15% quota is met.
II.		Postponements and Cancellations
	In case a race, other than one shipped with Louisville, cannot be flown as
	scheduled the race and basketing will be held the next calendar day. If it cannot be flown
	on two consecutive days an old bird race will be cancelled and in the case of a young bird
	race the entire schedule will be moved back one week. If two or more weekends are lost
	the race committee will meet to determine the remaining schedule. Notification of a
	postponement or cancellation will be made by noon on basketing day if at all possible.
!!!.		Old bird nomination race
	1. List of, at most, 10 nominated old birds due on or before basketing for the first race.
	2. Entry cost $100.00 per 10 birds with a minimum of $100.00 per entry.
	3. Race to be flown with the combine Montgomery, AL race on May 31, 2008.
	4. Payoff
	a. If purse is less than or equal to $1000.00, 1st-30%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 20%, 4th 15%, and 5th 10%.
	b. If purse is greater than $1000.00, 1st-$300, 2nd-$250, 3rd-$200, 4th-$150, 5th-$100,
		and each additional place $100 until the money runs out.
	5. Open to all members of the CIRPC or WV clubs.
	6. Individual clubs will hold knock-offs and then combine results.
IV.		Young bird BOND race
	1. Bonds are 10 for $100 if purchased before July 1, 2007.
	After July 1 until the night of basketing for the 1st Young
	Bird race bonds are 5 for $100. A minimum purchase
	of $100 is required.
	2. Open to all members of the CIRPC or WV clubs.
	3. Payout
	a. If purse is less than or equal to $1000.00, 1st-30%,
	2nd 25%,.3rd 20%, 4th 15%, and 5th 10%
	b. If purse is greater than $1000.00, 1st-$300, 2nd-$250,
	3rd-$200, 4th-$150, 5th-$100, and each additional

	4. Bond Race will be a seperate first liberation, for bond birds only, from the Lewisburg, TN
	station on October 10, 2008..

	combine results
V.		Shipping Limits
	1. Fifteen (15) birds per loft location for OLD BIRD RACES shipped with Louisville.
	2. Thirty (30) birds per loft location for both OLD & YOUNG BIRD RACES shipped with CIRPC.
